Scooters are normally used for delivering pizzas or transporting people around the city. The scooter in this video was the new razor a5 lux and it was outfitted with a rocket engine and performed a drag race against a Lamborghini Gallardo. The scooter reached a top speed of 150km/h. 200km/h would have been possible if the track was longer.

as much as I would like to believe this (and it probably is possible to build a rocket powered vespa), it looks a little rigged. In the first pass of the lambo you can really hear the motor being pushed (even tire squeal)… but in the pass with the vespa you can barely hear the lambo (no tire squeal). It doesn’t look like he steeps on the gas until mid track. Probably why they don’t show a time slip.
well its probably fast forward in the ending. for example, the camera is shaking to fast. and i think the scooter would do a massive weelie at the start if it really accellerated that fast..
