   I agree with Matt, I feel the Lambo LP-550 Valentino Balboni would be a fairer comparison to the 458.

   This is what happens when American journalists drive cars on the track… the 458 should beat the Superleggera by almost 2 seconds a lap around The Streets with a pro driver with little to no understeer, perfect power balance, superior braking, etc. The only thing the Lambo has on the Ferrari is a better launch off the line due to its AWD and less weight and the fact that it costs $30-50k less. The SL will never beat the 458 around any track with a capable driver. R&T should stick to comparing Honda Civis to Ford Focus.
