Corvette Z06X Track Car Concept

Following the unveiling of four Camaro’s, Chevrolet has also announced two special editions of its Corvette. One focused on style and another one ready to take on any track. The Jake Edition Concept based on the Corvette Racing team’s mascot remains a concept as some accessories aren’t available yet, but are likely to hit the market sometime next year.

On the other side, the Chevrolet Corvette Z06X Track Car Concept, which uses a standard Z06 and stuffs it with a SCCA-approved roll cage, racing seat, harness and fire suppression system. The car has been extensively lightened thanks to carbon fiber body panels, a polycarbonate rear window and the removal of the radio, carpets and sound-deadening material.
