Audi R8 V10 Racing Edition

Anderson Germany have released a wide variety of tuning packages recently. Their latest project is based on the Audi R8 V10 and has been named the ‘Racing Edition’.

The car receives a performance kit to start with. Components of the kit include a valve controlled sports exhaust system, one advantage of this is a reduction of weight by 17kg (37lb), racing cats and a new sports air filter are included as well as a new engine power management system. The result is a healthy 585hp compared to the serial 525 hp.Top speed increases by about 12km/h (7.5mph) in comparison with the serial model.

The aerodynamic kit includes a carbon front apron and rear spoiler for the downforce improvement, as well as a carbon diffuser, rear window bordering and carbon mirrors. The interior has been re-trimmed with matt carbon leather equipment and given a carbon kit including door trims, radio frame, ashtray, gear stick frame, hand brake knob, steering wheel.

The car uses light-weight alloy rims measuring 8.5×19 and 11×19 with tires also measuring 235-35 R19 / 295-30 R19. To give them the ‘racing’ look, Anderson have applied a carbon fiber finish.
