Koenigsegg Agera in Abu Dhabi

The first Koenigsegg Agera has hit the showroom after its initial introduction at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show in March. The Koenigsegg Agera is displayed and for sale at the Koenigsegg showroom in Abu Dhabi, which has been an important location for the Swedish supercar manufacturer since the opening of the showroom in 2007.

The Koenigsegg Agera packs 910hp and beats most rival supercars on acceleration (0-100 km/h in 3.1 sec), top speed (390 km/h+) and price (€ 780.000 excl taxes). But there’s no doubt about it that it’s one of the most unique and exclusive supercars on the market today!

  1. “The Koenigsegg Agera packs 910hp and beats most rival supercars on acceleration (0-100 km/h in 3.1 sec)”

Ok, it is one of the most amazing supercars in the world, but it is a fact that, regarding the 0-100 time, it is still slower than the GT-R… and it costs +600.000 €

I understand that each car has a different type of client, but if I had an Agera, I wouldn´t like to see how a “simple” GT-R is faster than me.

  2. ^um. no. i think you’re referring to the SpecV and its 0-60 is 3.2. so you’re wrong. plus im pretty sure the 0-60 isn’t the only reason ppl by hypercars. can get a motorcycle for a fraction of the gtrs price. so why the hell is anyone buying cars??

  3. #Student, I´m talking about cars, not motorbikes. As I said, “I understand that each car has a different type of client”. I haven´t said that 0-60 is the only reason people buy supercars, maybe you understood me wrong. I apologize for my English, it is not very good, sorry.

The 0-60 in the new GT-R is under 3sec. See it by yourself:

#Rick, I only see the stupidity in your comment :)

  4. to bad the japs do nothing but lie as history has proven. cant wait for the 997 turbo gen 2 to annihilate it when they are compared and the dont even come close to pulling 2.9 in the grt and pull 2.8 in the turbo

  5. the fact it can hit 245mph+ and 0-60 (for a rear wheel drive car) in 3.1 (maybe less depending on conditions and tyres) is very impressive. Best of all, Christian Von Koenigsegg building a supercar that can out accelerate Ferrari and more outrageous than Lamborghini is brilliant
