Rumours are circulating at the moment about the possibility of a successor to the Ford GT. The rumours come after Derrick Kuzak, Ford’s head of global product development, gave an interview with AutomobileMag. After being asked by his interviewer about the possibility of a Ford GT successor, Kuzak didn’t deny the existence of such a project leaving fans of the GT with a glimmer of hope that they could see a new car in the near future.
Kuzak’s actual answer was, “Well I think there are certain things that we don’t want to talk about in terms of four-year product plans, if that’s okay.”
The ambiguity continued when Alan Mulally, CEO offered the answer, “All I know is, if the ground is wet, they don’t let me drive it, that vehicle levitates.”
You can take those quotes to mean what you will, however, many will be pleased at the possibility that Ford is looking into producing another variant of the iconic name. Let us know what you think in the comments box below.
