Video Hennessey V650 CTS-V Wagon VS Porsche 911 Twin Turbo

Check out the following footage hosting a family station wagon against a supercar in a quarter mile showdown. On the left the 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon equipped with the 650hp Hennessey V650 engine upgrade and on the right the Porsche 911 Twin Turbo producing 480hp. The curb weight differs only 949lbs in favor of the 911.

The Hennessey Cadillac does the zero to 60mph in 3.5 seconds, same as the Porsche. The quarter differs 0.1 seconds in favor of the Cadillac at a similar speed of 121mph.

  1. Apple to orange really……the old 997 Turbo with a torque converter was much slower. The big question is, is the Caddy on drag radial? The new PDK’d 997 Turbo, especially the S, is WAYYYYYYY quicker. This video is just trying to make the Caddy look good. Run a V650 on street tire against a 997 Turbo S, the 997 would smoke it by 4 car lengths.

  2. Drag radials huh? I’m thinking those just might have made a difference. Whatever, who would actually do this to a caddilac let alone some lame ass sportwagon. And what does that upgrade cost prob around 20,000$
