To celebrate the spring and the start of the Roadster season, Wiesmann organized the Spring Gala on the 26th and 27th March. This annual festival was held at their factory in DĂĽlmen, Germany. It was visited by many Wiesmann enthusiasts who had the opportunity to see the factory.
Highlight was the German premiere of the Wiesmann Spyder Concept which was officially unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The Wiesmann Spyder is powered by a 4.0 liter V8 which produces 420hp. Weighing less than 1,000kg, the Spyder accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in less than four seconds. The top speed is approximately 290km/h. If the Spyder does go into production, this won’t be before 2012.
