Spyshots 2012 Porsche Boxster at The Nurburgring

Teamspeed spies have snagged a new set of spy-shots of the upcoming 2012 Porsche Boxster doing some further rtesting at the ring. The next-generation Boxster, known internally at Porsche as the 981, revealed its new LED taillights – a triangular design like on the next 911.

The next Boxster may come with a new four-cylinder engine. Porsche’s outgoing head of research and development, Wolfgang Durheimer, confirmed that the automaker was developing a 2.5 liter power plant that could possibly be seen in the 2012 Boxster and Cayman models. The new engine could have an output of up to 360bhp in a turbocharged configuration.

    So disappointed..wheres the angle shapes in the door flowing into a new vent design into the rear guard.
