What would you do when you crash your precious McLaren SLR supercar? Stop the car somewhere safe and call the insurance company? We would think so. But that’s not what Roberto Parli did when he recently hit another car in Switzerland. Instead of stopping he continued with only three functioning wheels. Only after he hit a truck several hundred meters down the road the car finally gave up on him.
The Swiss police found double to allowed amount of alcohol in his blood, but instead of admitting his mistakes he screamed out to bystanders “I’m a millionaire, I’ll pay for everything I don’t care”. Swiss traffic fines are based on income and wealth and can go up to several hundred thousand Swiss Francs. How his wife Adriana Volpe, previously seen with Flavio Briatore, responded to the accident is unknown.
