German manufacturer Porsche has released an unique application. With the free Porsche 360° app for iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, the Dutch Porsche importer allows for an up-close driving experience without actually sitting behind the wheel of a Porsche.
It allows users to get into the car alongside Porsche driver Jeroen Bleekemolen for a lap of the Zandvoort circuit with a Porsche 911. As a passenger, one can choose any viewing angle by moving the device into the according direction.
Currently, this application is only available in The Netherlands, but it has been placed in the App store in co-operation with Porsche AG. You can download the app from the Apple App store to the iPad (1, 2), iPhone (3GS, 4) or iPod Touch (4). The Porsche 360° app is also available free of charge at www.porsche.nl/360.
