Mansory will display its kit for the new Bentley Continental GT tomorrow at the IAA 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. A complete package is available from the popular German tuner with many levels of customization possible. The Continental has traditionally been one of Mansory’s best-selling products; they will be hoping that this car continues that success.
The Bentley features a new front and rear apron with integrated a new side skirt set, a spoiler lip attached to the boot lid and redesigned front fenders and engine bonnet. All aerodynamic components are manufactured from very strong yet ultra-light prepreg autoclave carbon.
The 6.0 liter bi-turbo engine has been given a new lease of life thanks to the use of a reprogrammed engine management system, a sports air filter and a sports exhaust system. The cars power is boosted to 672hp at 6,000 revs per minute while the torque is increased to 780Nm at 1,700 revs per minute. The new exhaust fully utilizes that impressive 12-cylinder rumble.
Mansory offers a variety of wheel designs and sizes. Fitted to this car will be a set of 22 inch alloy wheels. Through the use of forging technology, this wheel is exceptionally light-weight. The recommended wheel/tyre combination for the front and rear axles is 10.0Jx22 inch wheels with tyres of size 295/25ZR22.
