A month ago we reported about a special edition Lotus Evora S, which was auctioned off in honor of Freddie Mercury, lead singer of British rock band Queen. The buyer of the car is British broadcaster and true petrolhead Chris Evans.
The charity auction washosted at the recent Dear Friends of Freddie Flash birthday. The final proceeds will go to HIV AIDS charity set-up in honour of Freddie by band mates Brian May, Roger Taylor and Queen manager Jim Beach after the singer’s death in 1991.
Evans recently visited Lotus’ headquarters in Hethel, UK, to agree the final design and specification of the car.
