Our November 2011 update provides you with the latest information and updates from any of our projects in the GTspirit Garage. The Garage offers an in-depth look into our project sports or luxury cars and the experience of owning, tuning and customizing a sports or luxury vehicle.
Like September, October only two projects received upgrades, but there is a new addition to the GTspirit Garage and the news that a car will leave us. The first upgrade comes from the Automotive Connoisseur Group, which upgraded their Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG project with a new custom widebody and interior upgrades. Our personal project car, the BMW 135i got three new upgrades. The BMW Performance steering wheel with display and shift lights was fitted. Together with our BMW dealership we installed a brand new twin-turbo kit. The old system was used for at least 89,000km, but made a strange noise and needed to be replaced. Due to the absence of the correct spare parts, a whole new kit was ordered. Also the AC Schnitzer strut brace has been installed under the hood improving the handling of the German sports car. A new addition to the garage is this GTspirit camera car used in Germany for road tests and transportation. The 2007 Audi RS4 Convertible is owned by one of our staff members. Built from 2005-2009 the Audi RS4 was with its high revving 4.2 liter V8 Engine and 420bhp a new era for Audi.
Unfortunately, the white R8 V10 Spyder in our GTspirit garage will leave the garage pretty soon. The roadster belonged to the first GTspirit ambassador. Apart from GTspirit ambassador he is co-owner of one of the UK’s most exclusive car communities; PureGT. He swapped his R8 V10 Spyder for a 2012 Nissan GT-R, a great addition to the garage.
