Video Fifth Gear Tests Audi RS5 vs Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe

Fifth Gear’s Tiff Needell has tested the Audi RS5 versus the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe at a local race track in the UK.

The Audi RS5 is one of the lastest additions to the RS-family and has been facelifted over the past few weeks. The top model in the A5 line-up uses a 4.2 FSI high-revving V8 engine producing 450hp. The engine power the vehicle in 4.6 seconds from 0 to 100km/h and on to an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h. Audi can increase that to 280km/h upon request.

The Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe is powered by an AMG 6.3 liter V8 engine linked to an AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed sports transmission delivering a maximum output of 451hp and peak torque of 443lb-ft. Reflecting its performance, the coupe is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 250km/h (electronically limited).
