The latest development from B&B Automobiltechnik is this Audi R8 V10 fitted with a wide range of new tuning parts. The program for the V10-powered R8 features a performance upgrade, racing exhaust system, an improved suspension and a brand new wheel set.
The engine power of the V10 engine increased from 525hp and 530Nm to 610hp and 600Nm. The additional figures are a sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 3.6 sec, 0-200km/h in 10.8 sec and a top speed of 330km/h. This level 3 performance progam includes a special racing exhaust system to reduce the exhaust back pressure and exhaust gas temperature. The flip-controlled full stainless steel racing exhaust system offers a power increase of about 25hp. The sound is adjustable in four stages electronically by a remote control.
Furthermore, the air induction and air ducts are revised and a special carbon air filter is installed. Subsequently, a modification and adaptation of the electronic injection code fields to the aforementioned work. This B&B performance optimization results in a higher power output while reducing the thermal load on the engine.
To optimize the chassis, sport springs are available, which lower the front about 20mm and the rear 25mm. A coil over suspension, engineered and developed specifically for the Audi R8 V10, adjustable in different stages (20-40 mm) is available as well. For the (race)-sports use – outside the normal traffic – the German tuner recommends a racing coil over suspension.
B&B also provides a special ceramic high-performance brake system and wheels with sport tires in 19 and 20 inch. The rims size 9×20 inch with tires 235/30-20 for the front axle and 11×20 inch with 305/25-20 for the rear axle.
