Wessling-based tuning specialist, a-workx, created the Porsche Carrera 435s. The car displayed is based on a 2011 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS.
Based on the 3.8 liter flat-six-engined Carrera S and GTS models, the 435s adds more power and sheds weight with respect to the standard setup. It is more focused on improving the track setup.
A combination between the upgraded ECU software, plus the addition of a sports air filter and Akrapovic Race titanium race system with remote-controlled adjustable flap, yields the 435hp. At the same time these systems remove 10kg of weight.
Chassis upgrades begin with a KW Clubsport suspension kit weighing 15kg less than the factory set-up it replaces. A MOV ‘IT brake kit has 370x35mm steel discs added to the front, which are gripped by six-piston calipers, and shave 12kg from the car’s weight. Steel braided brake lines and Castrol SRF Racing brake fluid are also used.
The 19-inch ATS Superlight alloys, coated in 245/35Z and 325/30Z Michelin Pilot Sport Cups, save 15kg with respect to the factory wheels.
The final parts are a carbon fiber aero kit, which includes a front lip, front intakes, side sill trims and lower section/diffuser for the rear bumper.
