GTspirit Tuning Car of the Year 2011 Nominees

Following our yearly tradition its time for our Tuning Car of the Year 2011 nomination. This year we have added two more Awards: Hypercar of the Year 2011 and Supercar Photo of the Year 2011 next to our Awards for Tuner of the Year 2011 and Supercar of the Year 2011.

The nominees for all our categories have been selected based on votes from our editorial team and this year two prizes per category will be awarded, one Readers Choice Award based on the public vote below and one Editorial Award based on the opinions of our editorial team. All hypercars, supercars and tuning cars which had their first customer deliveries this year qualified to be nominated. The awards will be awarded on January 10th 2012 when the polls are closed.

In what way is the AMS Alpha 12 GTR not a quality tune? Why don’t you do some research on what is done to the car. No it doesn’t have a flashy body kit or paint job like the rest of these (which i don’t consider a tune that’s just body/paint work) but it is heavily modified with a lot of time into it to ensure its a quality tune.

That was a valve issue caused by running 93oct on a race gas tune.

It popped the Motor at the last Moscow Unlimited as well. I don’t count that as testing.

It cracked motors during testing jackass! Last I checked, companies that modify cars should be aloud to push them to their limit so they can find a solution to make them stronger.

are any of the tuner cars on this list running anywhere near an 8 second quarter mile time with a full interior and a/c and no to add the full stereo? it’s facts like that, that make the ams alpha 12 the tuner of the year!

What is she even talking about? Its a contest and obviously there is going to be a winner no matter what. If it was any other car you would talk $h!t on it too unless it was the car you wanted to win. I voted for the Aplha GTR because that is the true meaning on a tuner car and judging by the huge margin between the GTR and the other cars in this contest Nissan pwnsssssssssssssss!!!!!!
