Wheelsandmore McLaren SLR 722 Epochal

Wheelsandmore’s latest customer project is this Mercedes McLaren SLR 722. The photos reveal a car that has received a new set of wheels and a new interior. However, Wheelsandmore have also added a modest power increase to the discontinued SLR 722.

Performance has been increased by adding a handcrafted exhaust system with sports catalysts and butterfly valves. To optimise this, an ECU upgrade has also been applied and a new pulley. The McLaren SLR now produces around 727hp and 950Nm, an improvement over the standard car’s 640hp. Now the name fits the car!

Wheelsandmore have gone to KW and asked them to develop a series of modifications to this SLR. The result is a suspension set that is compression and rebound adjustable, as well as being fully race approved.

6Sporz² wheels have been added in sizes 9.0×20 inch at the front and 11.5×20 inches at the rear axle. These are handcrafted, multi-piece forged wheels. Dunlop Sportmaxx tyres in sizes 255/30/20 and 305/25/20 have also been fitted.

The German tuner even made modifications to the cars interior. Materials such as Nappa leather, carbon fiber, stepped Alcantara and red stitchings have been used. A new steering wheel finishes off the interior nicely.
