Turkish industrial designer Ismet Çevik finished his exterior presentation of his BMW 8-Series concept. He explained us what his ideas are behind the design:
It’s actually a real rival to the Mercedes CL. Because I think the 6-Series is not a full comparison to the CL-Class. I went a bit further from a CL, and also included Rolls-Royce and Bentley influences. It is definitely a 90’s legend 8-Series. High class, business, luxury and supersport. Created to be new legend for BMW.

Why do designer always render ridiculously large rims ? Anyway the front of the car is ok (for bmw’s standards at least), but the rear looks too much like the jaguar xj. No for me too.

the 8 has never been a 4 door why change it its perfect
