Japanese tuner Wald International obviously do not believe in superstition. They will release their Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe next Friday, January 13th at the Tokyo Auto Salon. We’ve got photos thanks to our friends over at Autblog.nl, whilst we don’t have a press release to discuss yet, we suspect that little introduction is needed for the changes made to the British luxury barge.

The Rolls Royce gets a complete bodykit. The most obvious changes are the air vents cut into the fenders behind the front wheels. After you’ve got over this, the rest of the car starts to look a little better. A new front bumper offers a set of vertical LED running lights along with a new front lip and mesh air intake inserts. Side skirts bring the Phantom’s bodywork closer to the ground and the new rear bumper hides a small rear diffuser with dual exhaust tips.

The subdued elegance of the Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe is exchanged for a new sportier look, were sure that the emerging Far Eastern market will love this kit though. If it were our choice we’d definitely get rid of those side vents. What’s your opinion?
