Walter Röhrl is a racing legend. The almost 65-year-old German is currently working as senior test driver for all Porsche road cars, but he is mostly known for his entries in the World Rally Championship during the ‘80s. Röhrl was called a “Genius on Wheels” by three-time F1 World Champion Niki Lauda. In Italy and France he was elected as the “best rallye driver ever”.

In this video Walter Röhrl drives the Porsche Panamera GTS around the Ascari-circuit in southern Spain. The Ascari-Circuit is approximately 5.5km in length and is part of the first race resort in the world. The resort is created by Dutch businessman Klaas Zwart, who also founded former British automobile manufacturer Ascari Cars.

The Panamera GTS is powered by a 4.8 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, The engine has an output of 430hp and a maximum torque of 520Nm. The Panamera GTS sprints to 100km/h in under 4.5 seconds, accelerating on to its top speed of 288km/h. Enjoy the ride along with Walter Röhrl!
