We’ve got another unfortunate accident to report on today involving a Ultima GTR. It happened on Thursday last week in Fareham, England. Both the driver and passenger suffered relatively minor injuries despite the fire service having to remove the roof, roll cage and part of the door from the car. The passenger was taken to hospital by air ambulance.

The Ultima GTR was travelling along Peak Lane in Fareham when the rear of the car stepped out under acceleration. One source suggests that the driver reacted to something in the road. Either way, the Ultima veered across the carriage way before hitting a tree and coming to a rest on farmland.

The car was on trade plates following a series of upgrades carried out by a Fareham-based garage. The passenger was the owner of the car and the driver was a mechanic.
