Sportec unveiled their take on the limited edition Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. The Sportec SP 525 package boosts the performance as well as the appearance of the final evolution of the Porsche 997.

The Swiss tuner increased the output of the 4.0 liter engine from the standard 500 up to 525 horsepower, the torque was boosted by 20Nm resulting in a total of 480Nm. Thanks to this, the Sportec SP 525 is able to accelerate from zero to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds while the top speed is 315km/h.

The 911 GT3 RS 4.0 by Sportec is further tweaked by installing a traction control system, clubsport running gear from Bilstein, upgraded braking system using ceramic discs, 20 inch rims with central locking and matching Michelin PS2 Cup tyres. Furthermore Sportec fitted a carbon fiber bonnet, which not only saves weight but also enhances the looks of the 911.
