In celebration of Corvette’s 60th anniversary, Chevrolet made this video showing the 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible blow out sixty candles just by driving next to it. Corvette, please re-try that by drifting the 427.

Just a recap. The Corvette 427 Convertible has elements of the Z06 and ZR1 models. The American sports car is powered by 7.0 liter LS7 engine from the Corvette Z06. Rated at 505 horsepower and 637Nm of torque, it is the most powerful engine ever installed in a production Corvette convertible – and, like the Z06, the 427 Convertible is only available with a six-speed manual transmission.

  1. What a ridiculous advertising when any decently-sized truck will blow 10 times more candles. And as far I love the Corvette, the 7 liter block is more than outdated.
