Chris Harris and DRIVE are back with a new road test video. Chris and his colleague Neil drove the new 370hp Morgan Plus 8 to the Geneva Motor Show where it was official introduced to the public and the press. Equipped with equipment for four video shoots over a total of seven days, they guys had to fit the gear somewhere. There is no trunk, Or boot, it whatever you call it where you live.
The new Morgan Plus 8 makes use of technology from the aircraft industry to achieve an unladen weight of only 1,100kgs. This makes the Plus 8 the lightest V8 passenger car in the world approved to European safety standards. It is available with a six speed automatic transmission coupled to a 4.8 liter BMW V8 engine with 367bhp or 390bhp with sports exhaust.
