Now that we have the new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta has succeeded the Ferrari 599, Romero Ferraris thought they would turn their attention to the Ferrari 599 GTO with the goal of bridging the power gap. The Ferrari 599 GTO puts out a substantial 670hp yet this pales into insignificance when you compare the specs with the new F12 with its mind blowing 740hp!

Romeo Ferraris have announced two performance enhancement kits that bring these two extreme figures closer together. The first offers a high-flow air filter and a sports exhaust system for a mild increase to 685hp and 633Nm of torque. The second stage adds a revised ECU and a more extreme exhaust unit raising the performance all the way up to 710hp and 668Nm of torque.

For the aerodynamic upgrades, Romeo Ferraris included a new front spoiler, side skirt, and new rear diffuser all finished in carbon fiber. To complete the look, a new set of carbon fiber wing mirrors complement the red paintwork. We don’t expect many 599 GTO owners will opt to customise their car in such a way, but we like the way this car is finished.
