Another unique tuning project featured at Auto Italia 2012 is the Evolution 2 Motorsports Ferrari 458 Italia Emozione. Those that follow the 2012 Pirelli Ferrari Open will recognise the Evolution 2 Motorsports team as they run a race preped Ferrari 458 Challenge Trofeo. For the road, the team also uses a Ferrari 458 Italia Emozione, with a series of bespoke modifications.
Visuallsy, the Emozione kit consists of a new front splitter, rear spoiler lip, mirror casings, diffuser, chrome-effect mesh, custom alloy pedals and carbon fiber engine bay surrounds. To increase the performance, Evolution 2 Motorsports added a large-volume carbon fiber airbox, a titanium exhaust with blue end tips and an ECU remap. Its enough to boost the Ferrari 458 Italia’s peak performance levels to 602hp, a healthy 40hp gain over the standard model.
All of the parts are available to order in black carbon fiber, silver carbon fiber or glass-reinforced plastic, ready to be colour matched with the car’s bodywork. Evolution 2 Motorsports will tailor the package to your needs. The Ferrari 458 Italia Emozione follows the company’s kit for the Ferrari 430 which increased that car’s power to 707hp using a Novitec Rosso kit.
