Wald International Maserati Quattroporte Black Bison by CDC Performance

German tuning company CDC Performance recently finished work on a special project. They created a Wald International Maserati Quattroporte Black Bison Edition, finished with Ferrari Rosso Corsa paintwork. The project uses the Japanese body kit with a set of CDC International’s own brakes, a performance enhancements, suspension adjustments and a set of interior upgrades.

Primarily, the outside look is completed by the Wald Black Bison body kit which features a new front bumper with built in spoiler, side skirts, rear bumper with rear diffuser, rear trunk spoiler, rear roof spoiler and LED daytime running lights. All these parts are finished in carbon fibre, many feature exposed weaves too. LED lighting is concealed within the new side skirt.

Moving around the Maserati Quattroporte, new carbon fibre mirror casings have been fitted, grille inserts have been finished in Nero paint, fender grilles, headlamps, taillights and side indicators have also received a Nero paint job. The suspension adjustments include a coilover suspension kit with adjustable rebound, compression and height.

Performance enhancements include a twin turbocharger kit producing 580hp and 570Nm of torque at 0.35 bar boost pressure. Electronic software enhancements were also necessary to help realise this power increase. To create a fitting sountrack, which you’ll be able to hear in the video below, CDC Performance fitted a new stainless steel exhaust kit with remote operable valves.

Wheels are Concave 10-spoke designs measuring 9.0×22 inches at the front with 245/30-22 tyres and 295/25-22 tyrs with 10.5×22 inch rims at the rear. All four wheels get a gloss black finish. Brakes are 12 piston calipers with 405x36mm 2-piece brake discs at the front. At the rear, CDC fitted 4-piston calipers with 380x34mm 2-piece brake discs.

There is quite a bit going on inside the car too. CDC Performance fitted the Maserati Quattroporte with their own style instrument cluster with a Nero painted surround, a thirteen piece carbon fibre design kit replaces various standard trim pieces and other interior plastics have been painted Nero colour. The surfaces received a new leather trim, as did the headliner with accented red stitching and quilted leather for the seats.
