Spyshots Lexus LFA Final Edition Spotted at the Nurburgring

A rather interesting Lexus LFA test mule has been spotted on the Nurburgring. The new model and possibly the final hoorah to the Lexus LFA range does not come as a surprise, but we do not have a clue what it exactly will bring.

On initial glance it looks just like the previous Nurburgring Edition, but after a closer inspection you see some new elements that suggest this is an even wilder version. It could be the rumored LFA Tokyo Edition or a test mule used for the development of the LFA II hypercar, which has been mentioned ones or twice.

For now, we can only tell what we are seeing on the pictures. The prototype has an extra air intake on its hood, subtle boot-lid spoilers and quad exhaust tips on the sides instead of the regular three-pipe, triangular design of the current models. The exhausts have even been moved up to just below the tail-lamps to make way for an aggressive diffuser integrated into the rear bumper. Both its hood and roof has been left unpainted, exposing the car’s carbon fiber weave.

Stay tuned for more news on this new car in the near future.
