AC 378 GT Zagato at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012

AC Cars took their AC 378 GT to the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012 this year. The AC 378 GT was released at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. It’s based on the Zagato Perana Z-One concept which originally debuted at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. The AC 378 GT marks a new era for AC Cars. The AC 378 GT Zagato will be assembled in Germany and South Africa while the older models will be built at AC Heritage Centre at Brooklands in Surrey, UK.

In production spec, the AC 378 GT is powered by a General Motors 6.2 liter V8 featuring 434bhp. The new model will be sold alongside the firm’s traditional Cobra line-up and will cost around £ 90,000. The AC 378 GT Zagato marks the 50th anniversary of the creation of the original AC Cobra.
