2013 Jaguar XF, XF Sportbrake and XJ

Jaguar have unveiled a refreshed 2013 model range. Updates have been applied to the Jaguar XF, Jaguar XF Sportbrake and the Jaguar XJ for the new model year. The changes include cosmetic, aerodynamic, interior and mechanical updates that Jaguar hope will keep the range fresh.

Jaguar have introduced two new petrol engines to both cars. The XF and XJ are now available with efficient 3.0 liter V6 Supercharged and 2.0 liter i4 Turbocharged units as well as the existing 2.2 liter i4 Turbodiesel, 3.0 liter V6 Turbodiesel and both naturally-aspirated and Supercharged 5.0 liter V8 petrols. All engines get eight-speed automatic transmissions and all Jaguar diesels and petrol V8 and V6 models get Jaguar’s Intelligent Stop/Start systems.

The 2.0 liter petrol engine features 237hp, whereas the 3.0 liter V6 gets 335hp. Fuel efficiency is improved by around five percent. In terms of entertainment, Jaguar now offer an 825W Meridian sound system for all Jaguar XJ and XF models. There’s updates to the Jaguar Touchscreen infotainment which add extra features.
