Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012 is well placed to attract the majority of current Formula 1 teams, being just a week before the start of the 2012 British Grand Prix. Seven teams have managed to display cars at this years show. McLaren Racing, Caterham F1, Scuderia Ferrari, Lotus F1, Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing and Williams F1 all displayed examples of their modern Formula 1 cars in the Formula F1 & Indy Cars paddock.
The rest of the cars in this paddock reads as a who’s who of classic competition racing cars. We’ve got several classes of cars on display here, class 15 features Modern Endurance Racers including a McLaren-BMW F1 GTR, a Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR, the LeMans winning Bentley Speed 8 and this years LeMans winner Audi R18 e-tron Quattro. There’s a huge amount of classic Lotus Grand Prix cars including the revolutionary Lotus Climax 25.
