The artists over at PS-Garage have presented us with another speculative rendering. This time, the subject is the Range Rover Evoque, the guys have added a set of visual upgrades to create the Range Rover Evoque R. The rendering takes inspiration from the Range Rover Sport. It follows rumours that Land Rover have been working on a hotter version of the Evoque.

The Range Rover Evoque R gets a lower ride height, modified fender trimmings, larger diameter wheels, new door trims and new side skirts. The design also features larger fender intakes, new inlets, new canards for the lower bumper and a thinner grille. The colouring is a standard white with accenting dark red features including the air vents and the wing mirrors.

Land Rover will probably choose to use Jaguar’s supercharged 3.0 liter V6 engine. Expect 340 or 380 horsepower at 6,500rpm, with maximum torque of 450Nm between 3,550 and 5,000rpm. A top speed of 230km/h (143mph) could be possible. We’ve not heard any rumours on a possible release date yet, so don’t expect it this year.
