Gran Turismo Polonia 2012 should be wrapping up today. The event started last Sunday in Poznan and has taken in some of the best racing tracks Poland has to offer. Maciek Polikowski from CarTurismo managed to get an awesome set of photographs from the opening ceremony on Sunday in Poznan, Poland.

The calender for the week took participants to Tor Poznan, a race track just outside of Poznan, on Monday and Tuesday. Here, instruction was available. On Wednesday, the participants head over to Berlin, a three and a half hour drive, for a special ‘Coffee in Berlin’ event. Wednesday saw the cars head back to Tor Poznan for a final trackday and a Gala dinner in the evening.

Car’s enrolled on the event this year included a Koenigsegg CCX, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Lamborghini Murcielago, a Ferrari 458 Spider, a Ferrari 430 Scuderia and a Ferrari 599 GTO. If you’ve seen our earlier post with the video of burnouts, you’ll also recognise that fantastic BMW M5 with the chrome wrap. The photos also reveal a New York registered Dodge Viper ACR!
