Techart GTstreet R on ADV.1 Wheels

ADV.1 Wheels have been fitted to some impressive projects in the past. Joining that portfolio is this TechArt GTstreet R. While we don’t have specs for the TechArt conversion, we do know that ADV.1 fitted a set of 20 inch ADV07 Deep Concave with a brushed aluminum finish to the face and polished aluminium lip. As with most ADV.1 Wheels, these are lightweight forged units, manufactured as one solid piece.

We drove the cabriolet version of the Techart GTstreet R back in 2009. We loved it at the time, and this variation of it looks just as interesting. The GTstreet R kit includes a wind tunnel tested aero kit including aerodynamically shaped bonnet, headlight trims, mirror trims and striking sill panels. Front bumpers, rear bumpers, the rear diffuser and the rear spoiler have all been modified.

Under the rear bonnet is a 3.6 liter flat six taken from the Porsche 911 Turbo. In the TechArt GTstreet R, this produces 130hp extra for a total figure of 660bhp and a staggering 860Nm of torque. With the Tiptronic S gearbox, the GTstreet R accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.4 seconds and with the manual transmission, the print takes just a tenth of a second longer. Top speed is 345km/h. The colour for this car is bespoke, it looks like Mexico Blue, but the owners assures ADV.1 that it is an unique shade.
