Unfortunately, we’ve got another drunk driving accident to report today. It happened in Nürnberg at a set of traffic lights and involved a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. Bild.de reports that the thirty year old driver and his passenger were both intoxicated and travelling at high speeds around the area before hitting the traffic lights.
The German newspaper reports that the accident happened close to a school in a busy area of Nürnberg. Fortunately nobody was hurt although a police officer estimated the damage to the car at around 150,000 euros and the lamp post at 5,000 euros.
The car itself looks to have suffered heavy damage to the rear right wheel and suspension. The accident was violent enough to set off the interior airbags.
