Ferdinand Piech and Wife Driving New 2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus

The first 2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus has been spotted on local roads in the German city of Velden by Michael Photography. The passenger and driver of the red 2013 R8 Plus were no other than Ferdinand Piech and his wife.

Piech is the grandson of Ferdinand Porsche and the chairman of the supervisory board of Volkswagen Group. His current wife is Ursula (Uschi) Piëch. She was driving the new Audi R8 V10 Plus.

The new Audi R8 V10 Plus model is available only as a coupe. It develops 550hp, with maximum torque of 540Nm at 6,500rpm. With the S tronic gearbox, the R8 V10 plus catapults from zero to 100km/h in 3.5 seconds and achieves a top speed of 317km/h. The key data with the manual transmission are 3.8 seconds and 319km/h.
