German tuner Hofele Design has released a new program for all versions of the Mercedes-Benz M-Class. The package features a fourteen-piece wide body kit named Starcruiser GT 550, engine upgrade, new wheels, lowering kit for the suspension and an interior upgrade.

The original front bumper is replaced by a new one with big air intakes and a LED daytime running light module with five single LEDs. Wheel arch extensions make up the side profile. Four-tube sports tailpipes and a wider rear apron diffuser are the main differences to the rear of the M-Class. The kit is being fitted or glued onto the serial points of attachment. It can be used on all ML models except for the AMG ML 63. The price for the kit starts around 6,500 euro including VAT.

On the inside Hofele Design fitted its own Bi-Colour leather interior called Star-Light. The two-coloured StarLight leather interior has stitched elements and ornamental seams. Also newly covered are the door panels, the front and rear arm rests and the steering wheel. Pricing starts around 5,900 euro.

The M-Class rolls on Reverso II wheels, available in the sizes 9×20 and 10×22 inch. An electronical lowering module lowers and lifts the M-Class speed-related. While standing and driving up to 80km/h the car is lowered 40mm. When driving over 80km/h the serial height is restored.

Upon request, Hofele increases the power of the 350 BlueTec Diesel from 258hp to 312hp and the torque from 620Nm to 700Nm.
