In 2010, GTspirit reported on a rather esoteric creation – the custom Mercedes-Benz CL 500 by AG Excalibur. Named after its namesake company, the AG Excalibur is reportedly being put up for auction on the 31st of October only two years after its introduction. The AG Excalibur debuted in 2010 at Top Marques Monaco alongside a custom BMW M6, also crafted by the Lithuanian firm.

The car, garnished with 30 inch rear and 24 inch front rims, is set to be auctioned by RM auctions who estimate the car will sell for between £50,000-80,000. The interior is an entirely custom creation with a six-camera parking system and Swarovski crystal adorned gear levers. Lithuanian builder Audronis Gestautas took a reported two years to handcraft the car out of what can only be described as a “healthy” dose of Kevlar and fiberglass.

The car maintains the stock V8 engine, only with upgraded eight-piston Brembo brakes as well as custom suspension to handle the amount of bling from the enormous rims. Front and rear custom emblems were also coated in 24-carat gold. One-of-kind, indeed.

We’ll have to see if anyone is willing to pay anywhere near RM’s estimate come the end of the month. More information can be found on the RM Auction website here.
