You may remember that the GTspirit Facebook page reached 50,000 fans in July. To celebrate this with our fans we organised a little competition with three winners. Each of them got a track experience organised by RSR at the Spa-Francorchamps Formula 1 circuit.
RSR is based at two of the most beautiful track of the world, the Nurburgring and Spa-Francorchamps. RSR specializes in private track days and corporate events with an open pit lane. It is also possible to hire a car out of the various selection of the RSR rental cars ranging from Alfa Romeo’s, Renault Clio Cup, Megane RS & R26.R, Lotus Exige 240S & 2 Eleven & 260S Cup, BMW M3, Porsche GT3 RS and a LM2 Prosport Spider race car.
In the afternoon of a beautiful sunny Friday, the three winners had travelled to what is commenly known as one of the most beautiful and exciting circuits of the world, Spa-Francorchamps. RSRSpa had planned a special program for the winners to experience the track with RSR expert driving instructors as their guide.
The winners Jeroen, Gebriel Al and Alessandro started the day with an instruction about the do’s and dont’s on the track including an explanation of the flags. The winners told the instructors they only knew the track from video games, but this was clearly the real thing. The guys were lucky, because it was a busy track day with lots of supercars and experienced drivers. It caused some nerves with the winners.
The trio started with co-laps in a Clio RS next to an expert instructor. The little French hot hatch has 200hp and is perfect to explore the track. After the instruction it was their turn to take on the track and its famous corner Eau Rouge. The excitement caused big smiles on their faces.
After many laps between Porsches, GT-Rs and other fast cars it was time to experience Eau Rouge on the edge. The instructor took the guys along in the Nissan GT-R and the Lotus 2 Eleven for some hot laps. The winners thought they went fast, but now they really saw the meaning of going fast on a track.
The unforgettable day did not only include the experience, as a bonus there were some very kind supercar owners. The winners went along in some of their favourite supercars; Ferrari 430 Scuderia, Lamborghini Gallardo and a Porsche 997 GT3 RS MK2.

RSR really made this day amazing. The instructor was very clear about how to drive on the circuit. I had lots of fun today and even got a ride in a Lamborghini Gallardo, which is one of my favourite cars!

This was the best day of my life. Besides (co-)driving in the RSR sports cars, I even was allowed to co-drive in my two favourite cars.

Although I had to come over from Italy, it was more than worth it. I had an amazing day. That GT-R is seriously fast and Spa-Francorchamps is such an amazing circuit.
