The wonderful looking Lexus LF-CC Concept will be the basis for the newly developed and upcoming Lexus IS series. Lexus marketing boss Brian Bolain confirmed to Autoguide that the LF-CC has space to fit a V8 engine, which fuels rumours that the new IS-F sport sedan will get an eight-cylinder engine.
As for the design of the new IS, the LF-CC is a clear indication. “It’s very indicative of reality,” says Bolain. He clearly stated that Lexus will use more dramatic design language for its more performance-oriented models. The monoform grille could for instance find its way onto the upcoming 2014 IS F-Sport sedan.
