2014 Porsche Macan

Final tests for Porsche’s baby SUV, the Macan, are ongoing in Spain at this moment. Thanks to a local spy photographer, we can show you a video of the Macan road-testing in Iberia.

Late next year the Macan will go in production in Leipzig. The new model will most probably be publically presented to the big public during the 2013 IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt.

Known facts are that the Porsche Macan will use the Audi Q5 platform as its base. Under the hood you will find a range of engines going from a 3.0 liter diesel engine producing 240hp and 550Nm of torque up to a V6 unit producing 370hp. All Macan’s will have a four-wheel-drive system with a seven-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK automatic gearbox.
