Another Dutch supercar is heading to the annual Top Marques car show in Monaco. The vehicle is build by ISIS Cars, a specialist with more than 25 years of experience in designing and fabricating chassis and bodies in steel, aluminum and advanced composites.

Their prototype road racer, ISIS AM01 was presented at the AutoRAI Amsterdam, 2011. Additional intensive research led to a new project: ISIS AM02. Every engine can be built into a chassis with its handcrafted aluminum body. ISIScars represents also Saker Sportscars with their road racer Saker RapX S (available for testing) (visible in the picture above) and Sniper S.

The AM01 (check the gallery) featured a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged boxer engine from a Subaru Impreza WRX STI delivering 275hp. The power was converted to the street via a five-speed manual gearbox. Due to its low weight, just 1,875 pounds, the sports car jumped from standstill to 100km/h in just 4.2 seconds. Its top speed was 256km/h.

The new ISIS AM02-AM11 cars are part of a limited series of ten. The weight of the vehicle has gone down to 890kg. The sports car has a handcrafted aluminum body, multi-tube steel/carbon chassis, 5/6 speed gearbox and has a price starting at €200,000.

  1. Yeesh ! Yet another pretentious Dutch supercar maker ( when it comes to supercars – If you’re Dutch .. You ain’t much ) This time with an Enzo wanna be vaporware offering . Other than Donkervoort ( who build brilliant cars BTW ) the Dutch are batting a Negative 1000 when it comes to producing an exotic/supercar …. with Spyker leading the fray …. in abject failures

Methinks the Dutch should stick to bicycles and leave exotics to the experts . Excepting of course ….. Donkervoort .
