Lorinser has shown its face to the world at the Essen Motor Show 2012. The annual tuning show proved to be a wonderful option for the specialist to showcase its latest packages for the Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake, SL and ML Class. Following the ultimate silence around the Lorinser brand, the showcase of three new models came as a surprise.

The first package is checked out was fitted to the CLS Shooting Brake. The complete kit offers lift-reducing aerodynamic components, an enhanced performance, stainless steel exhaust systems with a sporty sound, 19 and 20 inch alloy rims and interior modifications. The body kit from Lorinser includes a front spoiler bumper, wider wings, rear skirt, rear lip and roof spoiler. The Lorinser side skirts form the optical link between the front and rear. The tailor-made body kit is mounted on the serial attachment points.

The SL Class is the highlight of the display at the Essen Motor Show 2012. The convertible got a body kit featuring a new front with large air inlets and a new grill. The wider front bumpers and extensions to the rear bumpers extend the sides together with the new side skirts. The rear received a rear decklid spoiler, available either painted to match the car or carbon look, as well as a built in diffuser. Four end pipes of the new exhaust finish off the package.

The engine upgrade for the SL 500 brings the power up to 530hp at 5,600rpm and 800Nm of torque between 1,700 and 3,800rpm. With this increase in the power and sound to match, the Lorinser SL 500 can reach a regulated top speed of 280km/h. If a customer wants to drive their SL 500 faster than the factory limited 250km/h without enhancements to performance. The tuner offers an instrument cluster with a Lorinser logo on the dial, and a scale which goes up to 320km/h.

The third and final package was fitted to a ML Class. New front bumpers, side skirts, flared fenders and rear bumper parts make this ML Class 30 millimeters wider. Modifications to the exhaust and the engine were also made.

On the subject of wheels, each of the three models got a fitting wheel kit from Lorinser available in different sizes. In some cases these can be combined with a lowering module or suspension kit.

On the inside of the cars, Lorinser offers aluminium pedals and door sills with an illuminated Lorinser logo. On request, Lorinser offers anything that makes customer request from a personalised set of foot mats to a complete leather interior.
