Despite reports recently surfacing claiming that the newly launched Audi RS6 Avant wouldn’t make it to US shores, renderings have already been created of what an RS6 Sedan may look like if launched in the coming years.

The renderings have been created by Theophilus Chin and utilise a selection of features present in the RS6 Avant which have then been converted to fit the RS6 Sedan.

At the moment, Audi is expected to launch a sedan version of the 2013 Audi RS6 in the next two years and the sedan rendered by Chin features similar front air intakes to the Avant version, with wide wheels arches and side sills being present. Similarly, Chin predicts that the RS6 Avant will feature large, twin oval tailpipes like the Avant as well as the Audi RS6 and large double five-spoke alloy wheels.

The Audi RS6 Sedan will be a direct rival to the BMW M5 and recently launched Jaguar XFR-S and will produce 560hp and 516lb-ft of torque. This powerplant has been mated to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission and Audi’s quattro AWD system.
