Even the most inexperienced drivers know that wet conditions demand careful and slow driving to navigate safely. Unfortunately however, an American driver of a heavily modified Acura NSX clearly never received this message when their car began to aquaplane on a freeway north of San Diego, California before narrowly missing supports of an overhead road.

Although the NSX in question seems to be going quite slowly, there’s a chance the driver gave it a little burst of throttle which unsettled the mid-engined coupe. Either that, or the driver was the unfortunate victim of aquaplaning out of his control.

The above video was shot by the passenger of a Nissan 240SX following behind the NSX and as you’ll see in the video, there’s some very humorous commentary in the background as the driver and passenger discuss the incident with one cruelly saying “Good one bro!” to the driver of the NSX.
