Two McLaren MP4-12C GT3 racers by Gemballa racing have recently appeared on Jameslist for sale in the small European country of Liechtenstein.

McLaren officially produced 25 GT3’s for the 2012 racing season, available for race teams only but now even you have the chance to own one of, if not both of these successful race cars.

Both were built in 2012 and feature 3.8 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engines producing 608hp. Thanks to their light curb weight of just 1,235kg, the MP4-12C GT3 can hit 100km/h in just 3.3 seconds before rocketing onto a top speed in excess of 330km/h.

Iridium Automotive AG is currently offering chassis #14 and chassis #22 for 350,000 Euro each. Although that may sound like a lot, the new price for an MP4-12C GT3 is closer to 400,000 Euro, and unless you’re a part of a large racing team, then getting your hands on a new GT3 is near on impossible.

Over 70,000 Euro worth of additional equipment, electronics and modifications have gone into both cars, with over 200,000 Euro being spent on chassis #22 after it was involved in a racing incident.

Additionally, Iridium Automotive AG is offering to convert the GT3 racers into road-legal Can-Am versions.

  1. The MP412C GT3 is by now the most expensive modern GT3, the prices of the GT3 cars range from the 400K€ of the 12C to the less than 300K€ of the Gallardo LP600+ or the Porsche 911 GT3, the cheaper.
