Engine swaps are common amongst US cars. We’re familiar with Chevrolet engined Supras, BMWs, RX-7s, Mazda Miatas, Jaguar sedans and others. Its rare that we see this with supercar owners. Mid-Eastern rally champion Mohamed Bin Sulayem did just that with his Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG by swapping his stock engine with one from a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren!
The video below shows a race between the special Mercedes-Benz and a Ferrari Enzo. It would be fair to say that if the race was genuine, the result is quite unexpected! Watch the video below.
