Spyshots: Alfa Romeo 4C Captured Winter Testing

With the production variant of the Alfa Romeo 4C set to debut in just over one months’ time at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, new spyshots of the car have been captured depicting the new entry-level sports car undergoing fierce winter testing.

The Italian company hopes that the 4C will get such a good reception, that it’ll trigger significant interest in the U.S, where Alfa Romeo hopes to relaunch the brand in the fourth quarter of this year. Not only does the new Alfa Romeo 4C have the likes of the Toyota GT 86 and Subaru BRZ to compete with, it will also be required to increase the company’s global presence and act as a new halo car for Alfa Romeo which is much more accessible than the outlandish 8C Competizione.

The car pictured in the following spyshots, looks almost identical to the concept car first revealed early last year, but some small exterior and interior modifications are expected to be found under the masses of camouflage.

If all goes well, Alfa Romeo hopes to sell at least 2,500 4C’s a year.
